Québec-based retail software company Foko Retail announces that it is opening a second office location in Paris, France this month. The move responds to increased demand from brands and retailers for improved consumer experiences at brick-and-mortar stores across Europe.
Foko Retail is a store management platform for better merchandising and operational execution. Its visual communications platform ultimately improves in-store customer experiences while helping retailer bottom lines. Active in over 100 countries, Foko Retail currently resides in over 10,000 stores. Its investment in France is a natural step in its global expansion.
“Our goal continues to be putting an end to cluttered, inconsistent shopping experiences,” says Foko Retail CEO Marc Gingras. “Our new Paris office helps us do this to better serve our clients and attract new business in Europe. With such a large market across the continent, it’s clear we need to keep pace with our growing customer base and provide on-the-ground support to current and future customers.”
Wayne Selman, Foko Retail’s director of sales, will lead the new Paris office. Wayne is a SaaS industry veteran with over 15 years experience. He hopes to expand in Europe over the next six to 12 months with a goal of hiring five or so new employees.
Foko Retail has been gaining traction in Europe and is currently used by retailers such as Diesel, Helly Hansen and Kurt Geiger. In just two years, the company has expanded its reach to over 5,000 stores with 12 significant brand or retailer partners. It is currently one of the largest software companies of its kind serving the European market.
Foko Retail has also recently received recognition in Europe, with nominations for the LVMH Innovation Award, RBTE Innovation Trail Award, and Tech at Retail Week Award.
